Siblings DNA testing

What is Siblings DNA testing?

Siblings DNA testing is a process used to determine the biological relationship between individuals who are suspected to share at least one common parent. The test involves analyzing the DNA of the alleged siblings to assess the degree of genetic similarity between them. The  DNA samples are analyzed to identify shared genetic markers, providing insights into the likelihood of a sibling relationship.

Our testing facility is ISO 18385:2016, ISO9001:2015, and ISO/IEC 17025 certified company that employs state-of-the-art Autosomal, Y, and X STR Markers kit, ensuring 100% accuracy.

WHEN TO DO?

  • Paternity Disputes: When there is uncertainty about the biological father, siblings may undergo DNA testing to confirm paternity.
  • Immigration Cases: To prove their relationship to facilitate family reunification.
  • Adoption: Individuals who were adopted may seek sibling DNA testing to locate and confirm relationships with biological siblings.
  • Legal Matters: To determine familial relationships in cases involving inheritance, wills, or disputes over estates.
  • Medical Reasons: In cases such as organ transplantation, siblings may undergo DNA testing to assess compatibility and suitability for donation.

DISCLAIMER: This test result may not be defendable in a court of law for the establishment of paternity/relationship and other legally related issues because the samples used for the peace of mind test are not collected under a strict chain of custody or on an honourable court’s order by a third neutral party, and the Laboratory is unable to verify the origin of the samples. The names of the testing parties that may be listed in this report were submitted by the customer and are not independently verified. For inaccurate or misspelt patient information, the laboratory disclaims any liability.
